What is the Pumpkin Puck Light Mount?
The Halluminations Pumpkin Puck Light Mount is a reusable mount that twists into the inside of a pumpkin and holds a standard round puck light. It moves the light off the bottom of the pumpkin and shines it downward from above.
How does it work?
Twist the mount into the underside of the pumpkin lid until secure, attach your puck light, turn it on, and replace the lid.
That’s it.
What size puck light does it hold?
The Pumpkin Puck Light Mount is designed to support round puck lights up to approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.
Does a puck light come with it?
It depends on the package you purchase.

What’s the difference between the Pumpkin Puck Light Mount and Lid Light?
The Pumpkin Puck Light Mount holds a separate puck light that you provide or purchase from Halluminations.
The Lid Light is an integrated Halluminations lighting system designed specifically for mounting beneath the pumpkin lid.
Both move the light above the pumpkin interior. They simply do it in different ways.
Will it fit my pumpkin?
The mount is designed for typical carving pumpkins with enough solid flesh in the lid or interior wall for the blades to grip.
Because pumpkins naturally vary in size, shape, thickness, and condition, fit can vary from pumpkin to pumpkin.
How securely does it stay in the pumpkin lid?
The broad twisting blades are designed to bite into the pumpkin flesh and create a secure hold.
In our testing, properly installed mounts remained firmly in place during normal Halloween use. As with any natural pumpkin, the hold may change as the pumpkin ages and softens.
Can I install it somewhere besides the lid?
Yes.
Although the underside of the lid is the most common location, the mount can also be installed in other areas of the pumpkin where there is enough solid flesh to support it.
That gives you more freedom to experiment with lighting direction and pumpkin designs.
Can I reuse it?
Yes.
Remove the mount carefully after use, clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, dry it thoroughly, and store it for next Halloween.
Do not place it in the dishwasher.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, but use common sense around electronics.
The mount itself can be used in outdoor pumpkins, but puck lights and other electronic components should be protected from rain, standing water, and excessive moisture unless specifically rated for outdoor use.
Why are the 2026 products 3D printed?
2026 is Halluminations’ first production season.
We’re manufacturing our products in small batches using 3D printing so we can introduce the idea, learn from real customers, refine the designs, and continue improving them before moving into larger-scale manufacturing.

Will my 3D-printed product have visible layer lines or minor imperfections?
Yes.
3D printing naturally creates visible layer lines and may produce small cosmetic variations, rough edges, seams, or other minor imperfections.
These are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and do not mean the product is defective.
What does the remote control do?
The remote unlocks more of your compatible puck light’s capabilities without requiring you to open the pumpkin every time.
Depending on the puck light, you can control functions such as power, brightness, colors, and lighting effects from outside the pumpkin.
Can I use my own puck lights?
Yes.
The Pumpkin Puck Light Mount is designed to work with many standard round puck lights up to approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.
Because puck lights vary by manufacturer, shape, thickness, and attachment method, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every puck light on the market.
