A Better Way to Light Your Jack-O’-Lantern

The Halluminations Pumpkin Lid Light changes where the light lives.

Instead of placing a puck light on the bottom of your pumpkin, the Lid Light mounts underneath the pumpkin lid and shines light down through your carving.

That means easier access to the light, less fumbling around inside the pumpkin, no visible puck sitting on the bottom, and more open space for fog, candy, props, scenes, food displays and other creative effects.

The included puck light gives you four lighting colors — white, red, blue and green — with simple push-button control.

Use it as a clean, convenient jack-o’-lantern light, change the color to match your carving, or use the open interior to create something completely different.

4-Color Pumpkin Lighting

The included puck light gives you four simple lighting choices.

Press the puck to cycle through:

White Red Blue Green Off

Use warm white for a classic jack-o’-lantern look, or switch to red, blue or green to completely change the mood of your carving.

No remote is required for basic operation.

Why Light Your Pumpkin From Above?

Most jack-o’-lantern lights start at the bottom.

The Halluminations Pumpkin Lid Light starts at the top.

That simple change gives you easier access to your light, a cleaner-looking carving, more usable space inside your pumpkin and entirely new ways to create.

Light from above. Do more with your pumpkin.

Easier Access to the Light

Lift the pumpkin lid and the light comes up with it.

There’s no reaching down inside the pumpkin, searching for the puck or fumbling around behind your carving just to turn the light on, change the color or remove it.

No Puck Sitting on the Bottom

Traditional pumpkin lights sit in the base of the jack-o’-lantern where they may be visible through larger carvings.

The Lid Light keeps the light source mounted overhead and out of the way, so the focus stays on your illuminated pumpkin.

Less Fumbling Inside Your Pumpkin

Because the puck is attached underneath the lid, basic light access happens at the top of the pumpkin instead of deep inside it.

Lift the lid. Access the light. Put the lid back.

Keep the Bottom of Your Pumpkin Open

Moving the light overhead frees up valuable space inside your jack-o’-lantern.

Use the bottom for:

  • Fog effects
  • Candy displays
  • Miniature scenes
  • Props
  • Food displays
  • Hanging effects
  • Open-bottom pumpkin designs
  • Creative Halloween installations

A Cleaner Look Through the Carving

With no puck sitting directly behind or beneath the carving, you see the illuminated jack-o’-lantern instead of the lighting hardware.

More Flexible Pumpkin Lighting

Because the light is attached to the lid, you don’t have to depend on the pumpkin having a perfectly flat interior surface to keep the puck positioned where you want it.

Not Just a Simple Jack-O'-Lantern Light

Moving the light to the top of the pumpkin opens up possibilities that are difficult or impossible with a traditional bottom-mounted pumpkin light.

Try using your Pumpkin Lid Light for:

Fog-Filled Pumpkins

Keep the bottom clear for fog effects while the light shines through the mist from above.

Candy Displays

Fill the bottom of the pumpkin with candy while keeping the lighting overhead.

Pumpkin Dioramas

Create miniature graveyards, creatures, scenery and detailed displays inside the pumpkin.

Food Displays

Use an open-bottom or large-mouth pumpkin to illuminate cupcakes, appetizers, candy or other Halloween party displays.

Hanging Pumpkins

Create suspended jack-o’-lanterns with the light positioned at the top and the bottom left open.

Projection Effects

Use strategically carved openings to cast light and patterns onto surrounding surfaces.

Color-Changing Carvings

Use white, red, blue or green lighting to give the same carving completely different personalities.

Installation, Cleaning & Removal

How to Install:

1. Twist It Into the Lid
Position the Lid Light against the underside of your carved pumpkin lid and twist it securely into the pumpkin flesh.

2. Choose Your Color
Press the puck light to select white, red, blue or green.

3. Replace the Pumpkin Lid
Put the lid back onto your jack-o’-lantern.

The light now shines downward from the top of the pumpkin through your carving.

Easy Removal:

When Halloween is over — or when you simply want to remove the Lid Light — lift the pumpkin lid and remove the puck light from the mount.

Hold the lid securely and twist the Lid Light in the opposite direction used during installation until the mount releases from the pumpkin.

The top-mounted design also makes removal easier because you can work directly with the lid instead of reaching inside the pumpkin.

Cleaning & Storage:

Cleaning the Mount
Remove any remaining pumpkin flesh or residue from the mount.

Wash the mount with warm water and mild dish soap, then rinse and dry it thoroughly before storage.

Cleaning the Puck Light
Wipe the puck light with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

Do not immerse the electronic puck light in water.
For best results, clean and completely dry the Lid Light before storing it for your next Halloween.
